February Electronic Horse Racing  Once again we had a fantastic turnout and a great amount of fun at our 3rd Electronic Horse Race. Orchard Hall was a good choice - well lit, warm w/good acoustics. The betting was fast and furious, the food was wonderful and the crowd was enthusiastic. Can't wait 'til next year!

March Equine Vaccine Clinic The weather really cooperated - we had a great turnout with over 93 horses given their annual shots, coggins and/or health passports. Dr. Tracy Walker and her crew were an organized team - thanks Allegheny Equine and Mariele Pharmaceuticals. All the local Farriers were on hand for demonstrations and shoeings - thanks guys! Junior McGlaughlin made short work of getting Jerry's "Chief" under saddle. What a wonderful horsey day! The High Riders 4H Club was on hand for concessions - then they got to watch a horse castration - parents had some 'splanin' to do.

Judy Springs Club Ride - The weather was less-than-perfect with 30-40 mile an hour winds and the threat of rain, but still nine brave sould took to the trails. We rode for 6.5  hours and saw Judy Springs, the upper meadows and the plane wreck. We stopped long enough to read the messages left by family members to the victim (got us all teary-eyed) and then headed back down the mountain. Thanks Barry for great trail guidance - it takes lots of hours and miles to know the way around back there! It really is a beautiful ride.
